Solvay is investing to increase PVDF capacity

According to France Press reported, according to the plan, Belgium Solvay chemical group (Solvay) increase the productivity of the specialty polymers. Local time on October 18, 2012, the Group announced its Jura (Jura) tawoshi (Tavaux) 's investment 26 million euros. It can make the Group France specialty polymers plant production in 50%.

Specifically, involved in the specialty polymers are called Solef polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) polymers. Solef is a high added value materials, mainly used for many industries, such as oil and natural gas production, hybrid cars and lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and the lithium-metal-polymer (LMP) battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, waste water purification equipment needed to film as well as energy storage for electronic equipment manufacturing.
