PVDF markets abroad overview

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is the second largest with output second only to PTFE fluorocarbon resin, in common with fluorine resin such as good thermal stability, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, hydrophobicity and so on at the same time, PVDF is the material rigid best fluorine resin, has the highest tensile strength and compression strength, optimal rigidity, resistance to abrasion and cut resistance. PVDF has excellent weather resistance and radiation resistance, stable to 20~400m wavelengths of ultraviolet irradiation, which film outdoors in ten or twenty years can still do not become brittle and crack, and 108 LVL of γ-ray irradiation, no performance decrease (PTFE is crisp in the same condition, not tested).
